Has anyone knifed a bird whilst on horse? I have been riding a long and had a bird fly in to me a few times but yet to try and knife one. I reckon that would be most epic thing I could do... EVER.

Ah, well I did it without dead eye. I just found out about the heat seeking dynamite/fire bottles last night, it's pretty funny.

Last night during my travels I somehow managed to get my horse stuck between two cactuses near Armadillo, and unfortunately I was being pursued by a pack of four wolves at the time. I literally couldnt shift the horse and couldnt dismount either

Nice easy kill for the Wolves, but was a bit rubbish for me to be honest! Was pretty amusing while I was trying to break free though, it was pure panic! xD

When the 1.01 patch came out I transferred off all my saves to see if a fresh game would make the Deadly Assassin outfit unlock properly - it did not.

Oh well, I thought, plugged my USB key back in and set about copying the saves back:

Select USB key >

Select first RDR save >

Press triangle >

Select Delete >

Wait, what?  Delete?  Nooooooo!

I had 4 saves - 2 story saves, game options and the multiplayer save.

Suffice to say, I can confirm that MP data is not saved server side, but in that save file.

Epic (fail) moment...

Last week I was in free roam for the first time and saw 2 other people hunting bears in tall trees. One was standing on a small cliff shooting down and the other guy covering his back. Then suddenly all I heard was one yell 'look out', and then I got to watch one of them get mauled by a bear and almost fly of the end of the cliff screaming on his mic while his friend and I laughed at him and a grizzly fall down a cliff
