cant get online with the game when i am signed into psn?

i was gonna have a online game of red dead redemption undead nighmares today,(been ages since last time) and i could not get to the online multiplayer part of the game. i got a message saying i have to sign into psn, to use the online feature of the game, but i am already signed into psn... i also tested another game and no problem playing that online... so is the servers down for the game?, if not anyone knows what the problem could be?...
