Is it worth it??

Hello there, I picked up the first game about a month ago and have recently completed it and I loved it, but I was wondering if I should buy the other 2 games or not since so many people are saying there not as good as the first?????

the second game is more of the first and have better graphics and improvement here and there. it also have trophy support, the story continue where the first ended, maybe not as good story wise as the first one. but it continue where the first game ended. so if you want an end to the story of the first game you should get this one.. and it cost nearly nothing theses days used, so go get it i say.

when it comes to the third game its a new good story with new characters and is my personal favorite in resistance series so far. but if you dont want to continue playing the resistance games you can end it with the two first... anyway this game also go cheap these days used and new (just remember you need online pass to play online)... and if you like the two first resistance games, you will for sure not regreting getting this one either...

there is also a psp game 'resistance-retribution' it is more of an side story and is set between resistance first game and resistance 2 story wise. i liked the story better in this game than the two first ps3 games, and it is one of the more over looked games in the resistance series. you can connect it with your ps3 and use the ps3 controller on it, and you get some extra stuff unlocked. absolute worth a look if you have a psp or a psvita (you can only connect ps3 controller & unlock extra on the psp)...

there is also a resistance-burning skies for the psvita... not tried it yet.. so cant tell anything about that one... anyway is it worth it, yes.. its just more of  that resistance goodness you like :smileyhappy:

Remember to give KUDOS if you like :smileyhappy:

Re: Is it worth it??

I agree with Ronnyns, you should definitely pic up R2 and R3. There are still new players on R2 multiplayer and coop (in which you can play in a team of 8) both really good fun and different to most fps online.

R3 I enjoyed playing through the campaign in co-op mode and the variety of weapons make playing the game soo much fun, especially combining different secondary fires together to kill an enemy! I enjoyed them all.

Re: Is it worth it??

I enjoyed R:FoM the most but I have still played R2, R3 & R:BS and would say it's worth following the story through if you like the franchise.

I would personally say R2 is the worst due the incredibly poor AI. Marvel as hoards of enemies ignore your allies and literally charge directly towards you or stand on a lower platform endlessly shooting the floor beneath your feet.
