I want to get Resistance 3. I love Chimiera and the resistance series.

But, ever since the uncompletable mess that is Fear 2, I always make sure that all FPS I buy are completable and had no QTEs.

So, is it good? It looks good.

Are there any quick time events, button mashing?

I am ok with beat the menial, grim, off thing.

But anything else I draw the line.

I like my FPS combat shooting mostly or only.

So any QTEs?

Is any of it immpossible? So stupid it's not worth doing?

Any stupid mecha fights you can't win?

Yes, I encountered many game breaking things with Fear 2.

Tell me what it is like. I would realy like to get this game.

Online I don't care about. I don't buy games expecting online to be busy. It's usally broken, rubbish and crash happy.

But in this games favour, the company put proper work into online, before.

So can anyone anser my questions?

The game is good, platinum is achievable (on your own), competitive online sucks IMO. The game is the easiest Resistance yet, but still no push over.

There are no QTEs, although occasionally a chimera will grab you and an R3 prompt will appear, but I wouldn't call it a QTE.

I'm not sure what problem you had with Fear 2 - I thought that was excellent and completed it (although platinum is well beyond my reach)...?

But I would definitely say buy Resistance 3 - I doubt you'll be disappointed
