R2 is definitely the best game of 2008 when it comes to gameplay

But some of you werent too impressed with GFX

It is because the BETA is just 2.1g  and hencetexture streaming cant be used during gameplay

I played  the SP mission which looks much better than Gears2/aka washed out wars 1.1

However the GFX of Beta looks as good as any shooter MP even in the BETA stage

But this is just clarification

please dont be misled by TROLLS who dont own PS3 and are here just because there is no game on their console which is worth buying

what is texture streaming???

rather than loading the data into parts in the memory and then loading on to the cahe TS allows data to be mapped direcly from the Disc thanks to high seek speed of blu ray

This is also done by streaming tex from HDD

R2 BEta is just 2.1gg and roughly has 1/3 the tex as final game

However the GFX in co-op is much better since less TEX is needed to be streamed to an 8 man team as opposed to a 60 man scenario

i think R2 and Gears2 look the same in visuals even though Gears 2 has this bulky look to it

I've beta tested a few games, i've never seen any 'GFX'  improvements from them till release.

Do you have a stake in Insomniac or something? Ok, you like it, buy it, you don't need to be a (bad) salesmen.

Resistance 2 is the best looking shooter of 2008 if u are going by the SP mode
