Borderlands - Splitscreen Problems

Hey,

I've been playing Borderlands over the past few weeks, mostly split screen with a partner. Everything seemed fine at first, until we started to notice something concerning mission rewards.

We completed a couple of Claptrap repair missions, but when we collected the reward we noticed that my partner had received a Backpack SDU, whereas I hadn't received anything. The same thing happened with various other missions where I didn't get the weapon rewards etc, even though I had enough room to accept them in my inventory.

It really annoyed me due to the fact that it happened on more than one occasion, and it was me, not my partner, that missed out on rewards each time.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar while playing in split screen?

Re: Borderlands - Splitscreen Problems

No idea what you're talking about..?

It was rubbish, and annoying. More so for you than it was me. Wouldn't have been as bad if it let me drop Backpack SDU's.. I don't understand why it also gives different guns as rewards, or sometimes none at all.

Do you both have the mission in your log?

Re: Borderlands - Splitscreen Problems

well the reason that is is probably he finished the claptrap misson to get the backpack upgrade.

if he finishs a misson with a reward e.g a weapon, mod or backpack upgrade then he will be the 1 to recieve it n same thing goes if you were to finish it.

so i  suggest that u share the items between u if u need backpack space u finish 1st claptrap then he could finish the second so the items r evened between you.
