Dragon's Dogma is selling out well and more number of gamers are buying and liking this game day by day. And Capcom has already announced that they will make it a Franchise. I think there is a need of seperate Dragon's Dogma section in forum. People are discussing about pawns and trading of items. Walkthorughs. And his game is massive. Ng+ is there in the game. What you guys think about this let us hear.
I know people out here have kept Skyrim and (Dragon's Dogma and Dark Souls) apart. Most of us believe that yeah DS or DD is better than Skyrim mainly because of Combat System. Difficulty Level. Rewardiing nature of game. Events decided by our choice in game. And many others.
Lets bring DD and DS against each other. Both are Great Games. But which is better and in what aspect? DD is already a hybrid of present RPG games. What is DD and DS completely mix up. This will be epic game of all time.

Dragon's Dogma is immense. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Perhaps it doesn't seem like a "great" game in a critic's's opinion but I don't think it has flaws, more that there is so much more I'm looking forward to in the potential sequels. Enriching the world, adding more detail, better telling the story, these things can be done but the combat and gameplay are awesome already.

The game is pretty good , I just wish we had some crazy crafting system ( what we have now it's an enchant system ) and more balanced/useful classes for the end-game and ofc a verstaile skill set for everybody. By playing the Hybrid Class ( MK/MA) you get the best crowed control skills+auto target weak spot target system and many other things. The story is a mix of good and bad, it has a lot of potential. I liked how the prologue tied with your story and then how you went into NG+ and some of the little twists that could have been explored more. The Pawn system is actually very good, you get some sort of multiplayer but you don't have someone that encounters lag issues or vice-versa ( I talk about lag issues because my ISP is not reliable at all ) and on top of that you get to do screen shoots that you share and then you can make friends and trade stuff. The AI is not that bad but some improvment would be welcomed! On top of everything I respect Capcom that they did not release some bugged game...and quests, Ive spend 100 hours in my first session and if you check the forums you will see that most people missed a lot of them because they where used with something straightforward but in DD if you don't explore you don't find quests/things to do. And a lot of quests involved choices that actually affected you and not some "relationship" meter between you and your companion. NPC's can go away, get killed or you can actually be denied of some because you did not do some quests. Having only 1 save data is brilliant...I always say that if you want to make a game based on decisions that are supposed to affect you/world add a save system similar to Demon/Dark Souls, not being able to exploit options via multiple save files is cool, it adds more thrill to what you are doing. And not having teleport or fast travel is again a good choice because you won't leap like a frog from flower to flower you will have to go by foot, explore and if you find yourself on a new area by dark things can get messy. Indeed it would have been great if mobs would have random spawn points but well...
Overall Dragons Dogma it's a very good game and you will have a lot of fun and value. I don't actually want a sequel but an expansion pack. Development would be easy, fast and practical and money wise for us users. They are preparing something as the developer stated "gamers should hold their DD copies a little longer because we are preparing to add new elements and more really soon" I do hope it's something meaningful and some cheap DLC that requires me to spend the same ammount of money for 2 quests and 1 cave.

Whever a new game(or a new IP) come it should bring new things. There is no doubt that Dragon's Dogma is unique and the pawn system and mix of other RPG's style is well made. At this point gamers would like to do two things.First like the new things and start a new generation with it. Second like it but in minds have feeling of improvements, comparison with others etc. The Former gamer are mostly New Gamers. The later are those who have played previous RPG very much.
To be speciifc Dark Souls/Demon's Souls online multiplayer option is great. I personally like it. It is the best RPG online mode availlable. And the difficulty is appropiate for action/role playing genre.
Dragon's Dogma feels easy sometimes Specifically when you are high on level. You don't have to learn so much about enemies. There are enough help from pawns and self explanatory.
One have to admit that crafting/decision making corresponding consequence are better in Dark Souls/Demon's Souls than Dragon's Dogma. But one developer cannot bring similars things from another developer. Camcop(Very Famous and have market popularity) cannot possibly copy concepts from FromSofware(Not so Famous). So my wish to bring such things from other games into Dragon's Dogma is gone.
I respect those games which are harder and take learning to complete. Dark Souls/Demon's Souls are the best.
So in my opinion though i have brought Dragon's Dogma, enjoying it for the present time(as there are no other games, specially RPG out now),liking the pawn system, better than Skyrim but If in future a Dark Souls 2/Demon's Souls 2 and Dragon's Dogma 2 would come, my preference would be Dark Souls/Demon's Souls.
Dragon's Dogma may be good for the present but there are games that can clean beat it in many aspects.

Dragoms Dogma and Demon/Dark Souls are completely different games. FromSoftware are pretty famous..And bringing similar stuff is not banned. You can see that in most games that are released these days. I disagree with 100% copy/paste but the foundations are already build from some time so all you have to do is build upon them. To be honest when I first saw Demon's Souls it reminded me of Blade of Darkness. By the way if you ask me a crafting system was kinda non-existent in Demon's/Dark Souls..I see it more like an enchant system apart from those weapons that require Boss Souls.
As for Dark Souls it happens the same as in Dragons Dogma, the more you level up/enchant and learn your enemies weakness and moves it becomes easy, the difference is that in Dragons Dogma easy mode comes much faster. Don't get me wrong the Souls games are the best thing released this generation for consoles as in challenging rpg's but even Dragons Dogma it's not bad and it could be improved so easy via some updates and/or DLC and for some reason I got caught by it
Overall both games are good!
