Got it! 
Been playing for about 5 hours..... and now I had to stop because I'm getting a headache. 
Loving the game, though- the demo does a fine job of letting you know what to expect. Pretty challenging already, too- died a couple of times and had quite a few scary moments. Like wandering through a misty forest with almost no health whatsoever and no way to recover.... XD
I spent about 3 hours exploring the first village (where you live), then died just outside the gate chasing a stupid rabbit off a cliff. Then I chose the wrong retry option and it sent me back to choosing my weapon at the very start of the village
Now I've just proved myself worthy of commanding pawns, so looking forward to a weekend of exploring, clinging and chopping

im having a lot of fun with dragons dogma,the combat/difficulty are all spot on for me.
although it would have been good to have online co op the pawn system works really well..
the only real complaint i have so far is that on my 46 inch hd tv the game has black borders at the top and bottom of the screen,its no game breaker.. if anyone knows if this can be turned off please let me know,although i suspect this is a permanent decision by the devs,either thru the porting of the game or to help framerate (which has been really gd)
