Re: Dragon’s Dogma

Good question... I guess technically if they have a staff equipped, but I suspect the game logic will choose one over the other. It would be awesome if there was code in there to detect a triple jump specifically for staff equipped magic archers...

Can magic archers equip staffs?

Re: Dragon’s Dogma

In a word no. Since the double jump is a dagger skill you have to have the daggers equipped and levitate is a staff skill you need a staff equipped to use it. Unfortunately you cant have both equipped at the same time, I've tried. It's one or the other.

My little tip, depending how far in the game you are but if you go to the soulflayer canyon there is an area in there called leapers landing which has quite a bit of decent gear in the numerous gathering spots around. I suppose it's best to go there as soon as you can get access to make the most of it.

Re: Dragon’s Dogma

Ah yea, forgot it was a dagger skill :Stupid:

P.S: you don't need a double jump/levitate to reach Leaper's Landing :smileywink:

Yeah I have..

Spoiler
Basically with all the "major" decisions you have to make in the game, if you choose the wrong one you get a cutscene and game over (and a trophy).

im loving the exploration in the last 30 mins ive battled a cyclops, had a 15 minute fight with a chimera, found a hidden healing pond of some sort and my pawn jumped off a cliff to her death :smileyhappy:

Re: Dragon’s Dogma

Dragons dogma random fact of the day.

*side not* I have only tested this on one spell.

If you cast the fire ball spell for mage press in the left analog stick when ure charged.

This allows a manual aim mode and the fireballs can actually travel about twice the normal lock on distance and still do damage.

I don't know if everyone already new this but I literally only found it out by fluke lol and its really handy especially with the passive agressive griffons if you wanna get em down.

Yeah, it's useful for sniping - especially if you're overlooking a load of camo'ed up Saurians. Also, when you have those auto-targetting circles, you can aim at the one you want to hit (say, the head), then press R3 and it target locks it until you fire or it goes out of range.

I should apologise to Charisma's owner... She died yesterday during the Griffon fight in the tower. I hope she made it back to you with the equipment I gave her :smileyhappy:
