So a futuristic America covered in jungle isn't an interesting setting? The Statue of Liberty kind of caught my interest during the demo, I'm not sure how much the story will delve into backstory of this setting...I guess I'll find out.

Long gone seem the day where I would take a story based game like Uncharted 2, Resistance 2, Dead Space, and run through them 3 or 4 times.

I'm in that same gaming space as you at the moment and ditto your comments about not replaying some games.....although I have finally beat you in completing a game (Red  Dead) ..lol

Not sure if I'll pick up enslaved......but I was the same with Infamous...then the word of mouth comments on here led me to pick it up and get all completionist on it

That said I won't knock any dev putting a new IP out there....more power to them and far better than taking the remake/multiple sequel route until the franchise loses it's gleam or goes so far off it's roots it loses it's die-hard fans (ala DMC)..

I was also apprehensive about Vanquish thinking it was a game I wouldn't like...but I actually found the demo really fun....again a new IP ...

I agree smelck, I am always happy to see developers working on new IP, rather than churning out cookie-cutter sequels!
Two other new IPs (Dead Space and Mirror's Edge) 2 years ago worked out really well (as games) , but unfortunately they didn't sell as well as they could have, I guess having the letters EA associated with them may have scared gamers off Hopefully this and Vanquish do a little better.

I'm strangely becoming more intrigued.. (and with LBP2 being pushed back I only have one definate non music game purchase left this year... theee GT5)

Not a a Day 1 purchase I think... I'll probably sit and stew on review scores and other's opinions... could be a good rental, but I don't think I've rented a game since Dirt on the 360... lol

Ok so this is only about the third demo Ive played

(played it last night on 360 ..ruuuuuns)

But Im not sure why people are not excited about it.

It looks utterly fantastic...better than I would have expected.

Now I'll be torn with what to play as I'll be getting.

Enslaved, Castlevania andmaybe Two Worlds.

Castlevania is priority though for sure

Far as the design goes I like it.

If people say Cole from infamous is like a racoon.

Then this guy is cleary been designed like a monkey

even the tassils from his belt seem to move like a tail

Also the female is very well designed I kinda wish she

was the lead as her design is much better.

Still I have no complaints with the demo.

But again a demo does not equal a full game.

Best way to demo is "hire" from ebezy

Ah cool, so I am not a complete tool for seeing this game as worthy, nice to know
This game was barely on my radar until I played the demo.
