I know theres a few here excited about this game,im not really one of them but ill see how it goes after i play the demo but anyway heres some footage of a fight from FF XIII for you lovers out there

Apparently just the demo, which is about 1 hour long, clocks in at over 5Gb!!  Makes you wonder (a) how big the final product is and (b) how many discs the 360 version will have to be spread across.

MS will probably push it as a positive - PS3 only gets the single disc edition, 360 gets a deluxe box set!

That's probably with HD sound and cutscenes, as with MGS4. The final game will probably be reduced.. I don't know by how much though.

And so true about M$ pushing it as a positive!

That is slightly incorrect. The demo itself is not 5GB, but rather the required HDD install

Ok im not watching all of that, im worried itll ruin it for me...

The framerate seems like it needs to be fixed yet in the battles and movies of this game, even the framerate on the movie on the psn was crap as.

This one i think is going to be a good, so far looking at it, it reminds me of a mix of 7 and 8, and that can only be a good thing! XII is the only one i own which i havnt finished more than once...i think i might make an attempt at it again soon actually.

To be honest... you really don't see much... you see Lightning fighting the same old people on a very linear bridge setting... and then it moves to another character, at which point I turned it off... so I wouldn't say there are any spoilers in it at all...

Anybody else think that there seems something strange with the aspect ratio of the demo?

The information bars seem far more instrusive than previous versions,and it appears that everything is zoomed in by about 15%

Is anyone else on here just terribly uninterested in this final fantasy? I'm not 1 of those people that say the series died ever since 7, but I'm just not finding anything to do with XIII blowing my skirt up as yet.  It really doesnt help me subconsciously that it's going to the 360, that in the end, it will suffer for it but also from all ive read and seen, it just seems just not terribly engaging.
