Re: ME3 EXTENDED CUT 4TH JULY.

I am going to assume we are going for a spoiler-free thread so will tag my thoughts.

Basically, I watch videos of the new endings on youtube and thought it was a bit better and fixed one of my main gripes.

Spoiler
Yeah the God child thing is stupid and it's still there, but that was the ending they wrote, I accept that. My big problem, stupid as it may sound, is Joker just buggered off and took Garrus who seemingly didnt give a toss that I had dissapeared and/or died. This has been kind of explained away, he was told to essentially, bit ***** but FINE.
Spoiler
You still have synthesis, which is stupid, kill all synthetics which I went with but is a bit mean, or control which I initally thought was crazy but apparently you just become god :smileyindifferent: though fine, I'll go with that next time. Or you can say "fu bioware and your stupid god boy!" and just fail.

Re: ME3 EXTENDED CUT 4TH JULY.

They fixed that one thing that really bugged me about the game! Yay! I know that compared to the other issues that seems like such a small thing; but how your squadmates got back to the Normandy during your charge to the citadel really bugged me! So happy they filled in that information.
Also it was great to see Thane in my Shepards last moments, the game made it feel like that romance never happened.
Still not a great fan of the endings, or how they seem to really push you towards synth (I was choosing it anyway for this playthrough, but it still would have been nice to not feel I had too) but I'm pretty pleased and sufficiently depressed by the gaps that have been filled in.

Now to take my renegade, Garrus loving, red ending choosing Shepard through it all. Ill probably get all teary eyed when I send Garrus back to the Normandy. Damn I love that guy.

Re: ME3 EXTENDED CUT 4TH JULY.

Yep thats why they said you need to restart before the final space battles scenes not just at the 4 choices...

Re: ME3 EXTENDED CUT 4TH JULY.

I did them both from the attack on the cereberus base, so got to enjoy sticking it to Kai Leng again.

Finished my destroy ending, couldn't stop yelling 'he didn't stick it on the wall!' about what Garrus (my romanced character) didn't do that gets done in the two other endings. Nice touch.

I also watched the control ending on YouTube, before the extended cut I didn't have much interest in that end but now it actually seems pretty cool.

Yep can't wait for masseffect 3.5, The shepards - The next generation DLC

That way your Partners for mass effect series would decide your addon abilities of shepard junors...

As they get into battles with the few races that did not actualy agree to get along.

Same here, I played Paragon (mostly, I had to punch that quorian general :smileyvery-happy:)

I love Garrus and was really p-ed off at probably the same thing as you.

Going to play again, probably as a bloke or I'll end up romancing Garrus again :smileyvery-happy:

Re: ME3 EXTENDED CUT 4TH JULY.

I decided that I wouldn't be able to finish both ME2 & 3 again quick enough so I went and spoiled the DLC for myself :smileyindifferent:

Was a bit unsure about it to be honest...I would have liked to have seen more cinematic scenes rather than just a moving storyboard with narrative.

Were not allowed buy Microsoft. It HAD to stay under the 2 GB Xbox 360 limit on LIVE and but they had to keep the content the same on PS3 even though SCE Don't limit the size on PSN.

Bioware have allready said in pod casts that they would have liked to do even more.
