i would love a ps3 game similar to freelancer or escape velocity nova from the pc. like having your own ship, jumping to different star systems, doing missions, tradings and buying new ships upgraded etc. is there a gap in the ps3 market?

There are many gaps in the PS3 market, and they grow continually as publisher are too afraid to take risks and homogenise everything to what has proven to work in the past. Call of Duty is an obvious example of this, but it occurs across most genres.
