Hey all. I'm an ex-Chester resident living in New Zealand. I play in the australasian servers but often they're either too quiet, too full of americans or too lacking in the great humour of the mother country (i.e. british wit!)
Honest opinion; what do you guys think if you see a New Zealander in the English servers? Is it like when we have an american in the aussie servers? Does it cause any lag?
Just thought it'd be interesting to hear your thoughts from a different side to the story.

When i have played Aussies and i think 2 Kiwis there was some lag, minimal though, just the same as when playing Americans.
Its a geographical thing, no escaping it when your playing people from lands far far away.
No problems with Aussies Or Kiwis, have met a few... Colourful.... players in games ive played but if you can take everything thats said in the way its intended then no harm no foul ![]()

I game on the Australaisia servers a lot when I am gaming with out any of my Playstation 3 friends and I have only came up against players from America a few times. The reason why I play on them servers is because I do not get hassled often and if I do get hassle from another player a player from that region usually tells them where to go. I have only seen glitching a couple of times on the Australaisa servers and same with teamkilling and they are always done by a player not from that region. The cheats usually get voted off.
As for lag from the Australaisia servers I have not really had much and that means someone from there should have very little lag gaming in a English server. I have not came across a Aussie or a New Zealander in a English server before.
So try gaming in a English server LincolnNZ.

lmao cheers for all your comments guys. Just dropped back in to check the replies.
Good to see we're not the only ones getting swamped by americans! I love the idea of going to an american server to escape them lol
You guys know that the new patch (when it finally comes) should be bringing region-locked servers in? That'll change things a bit.
I did have a chat with some americans that were in an aussie server not long ago. I can see where they're coming from sometimes as, no matter how many american servers there are, they're often totally full so the leftover players head to other english speaking servers. I've noticed that the english servers are full a lot of the time too - do you guys get this a lot? Where do you go if they are full?
And yeah the aussies especially can be pretty colourful! But once you get to know them and can give it back to them they're a great laugh.
Oh and cheers mogzilla, I'll add you tonight (tonight nz time of course!)
