Now I'm not entirely certainly that you are deaf, Roger, but I need to point out a few things to Bignorant Dav. Firstly, people who are deaf can read and write, but not very well. However much we 'learn' English throughout our lives, our brain picks up dialects best when they are orated to us. I have never been taught Finnish in my life, yet I speak it fluently because of one of my parents. This need for aural learning is something that deaf people can't satisfy. One of my grandmothers is deaf and when she writes Christmas cards and letters to me, the message is clear (albeit after some decoding), but the words are mixed up/ not necessarily all there. If you are deaf, Roger, I offer sympathies to you as from personal experiences I have some idea of how the affliction must feel...

when i was at college last year there was a girl that was deaf. she could read and write ok, and could speak quite well. she was actually pretty clever, very good at lip reading so communication was quite easy. But there are deaf people that cant lip read and cant read, write or talk. there are a few very unlucky people who are deaf and blind, perhaps none have posted on this forum but thats not the point. i dont think you bigdav would like it if you were deaf and people made comments about you. obviously we take all our ears for granted, just imagine not being able to listen to music, hear others voices, hear sounds. some people dont know there born sometimes Life Cypher

As JackMS and Life Cypherhad said its not a very nice way to respond to someones post bye being a bit hostile to wards them ....... i beleave roger68 is deaf and that carrys numerus problems depending on how sever it is.... as for some of you guys bring a little disbeleaving and a bit hostle to him i ask you just two things 1 : check his profile........ 2 : check his posts and then maybe you might get the piture ......
