It could be routine maintainence if it still does actually happen. Although i have had various problems before with login on to the servers. It will work again soon, if sony took down the servers i would complain alot and then ask for us to purchase our own servers (if possible) XD

Right for some reason the confrontation side basically visually dissapeared from Socom.com however just sign in to Socom.com then enter this in the bar at the top http://www.socom.com/en-gb/confrontation/Player and all will re appear
