Hey all,

With the S4 beta now out, SOD are once again active on SOCOM

As you can see from this thread, we started the clan two years ago on SOCOM Confrontation with members from these forums by arranging our now infamous SOD rooms for ppl to learn the game in without the stress of being voted out or abused for 'being a uselss noob'

Now theres new maps (granted only two lol) so we're at it again and looking for more SOD's to die alongside while we get to grips with this latest SOCOM incarnation

If your looking for a mic using clan to learn the maps n have a laugh with then feel free to send me or any of the guys a msg on psn, look up 'Stormtroopers' on the beta or even better sign up at our forums to see when we're on or even what other games we're playing and just browse the boards - www.stormtroopersofdoom.co.uk

The SOD room is back folks. 

We're getting the SOD room back and all are invited. If you're looking for some friendly banter and some good games then feel free to join us. We're on from around 8pm till lateish

With the new layout we need folks to add a sod member if they want to join. I know it isn't the best but there's no other way of doing it right now.

Just add myself or any of the SOD names in this thread

Yup, what pud said.

The set up of this Socom isnt allowing us to run a room like we did on Conf but regardless, it will not stop us having fun

If your looking for a place to get to know the maps without the pressure of being harrased for not knowing them then add one of us or even better pop over to our forums for an update of when were setting up..

It is pretty sad though that you have to battle with the game to have fun! Kudos for persevering and putting a room up though!

Cheers Slick, yes it is a shame that the requirements and wants of the community were not listened to

I dont think there was one person that had played previous SOCOMs that would have thought, 'i hope for S4 they remove lobbys' but hey, Zipper know best, right?

Anyway if you feel like it fella (more to the point if youve even bought it) be sure to drop by for a game sometime, we want to see if we can salvage some of that community spirit that, even with all its faults, Confrontation was able to deliver...

Aye if my clan is not online, or i cant get into rooms with them, which happens all the time i will have a look for you guys, im sure you can do it by just searching for a persons name? or do they have to be on your friends list?
