Oi Oi yea i agre with LT ,, shame such a fun game to play when it is being played how it should be played if sony are so blind that they cant see a good thing when it stareing them in the face well what else can i say so many gamers lost would come back to confrontation 8) i find more realisam in confrontation than any other shooter ,,may be out dated graphic wise but still the game has a big heart which i fadeing unless sony take time to fix this game not take alot either ( we all banking something will be done & you are still able to buy this game but it not doing what it says on the tin 8) leagal stuff there have to check that out lol ....Peace LT

wow iv been back on this game for like 5 days!! and iv encountered cheaters in almost everygame iv played!!

whats wrong with these kids?  before i stopped playing we had the usual grenade launcher noob and the running with grenade in hands silencer thing and the retards that purposley switch teams at the start of a QM to gain advantage but now we got GOD MODE, 1hit kill throweing knifes?? , ps3 frezzing!!  this is getting beyond a joke!!! why are these kids even playing?!!! must feel good knowing you had to use a cheat!! i had a quick search on youtube to see what the crack is, and it seems like it all stems from a jailbreak ps3 running windows software or summit? well to nerdy for my liken! maybe sony should sort the ps3's out so it cannot run anything but sony software. its ruineing other games aswell not just socom..

Hi to all you fair playing socom fans.. I've been a fan of this game since day one on the ps2.

It's a fantastic game as well as having the best community spirit, it has the best format and longevity of any other game i've ever played.

Sony are still selling this game in the store for the same price and are advertising it as an online game with clan ladders and all the other stuff it originally had. How is this not breaking the trading laws in most european countries? it's like selling a cd player that only plays tracks 3 6 & 9?

I think it's high time that we, the people who play the online games, not just socom but every game thats ruined by the cheaters, we should be joining forces and standing up to sony.

I am trying to put together a petition to sony to do something about this and i am also contacting the media and trading standards in the uk. I can only make progress with this if you guys out there help me and stand up and be counted, so please do it. regardless of what you think the outcome will be, we won't know until we try.

Calling sony will not help, i know.. i have spoken to sony europes headquarters, sony global headquarters in japan and many other points of contact, but to no avail.. now it's time to get in contact with the people that sony will have to listen to.

If yolu want to stand up and be counted and really try to make a difference, it's as simple as adding your username to a petition. so please send a message through the ps3 messaging to me. my username is SOMETHING_NASTY  just send me a message from your user account saying you would like to join the petition, and i will add your username to the list and present it on behalf of the REAL gamers community to trading standards, the media and sony.

c'mon guys and gals.. we wont make a difference by ranting in the community forums about this, lets make a noise they can hear!

Your support is appreciated and will be a valued contribution to the games of tomorrow, even if we can't save our old faithful dog socom, at the least we can embarrass sony and bring new hope for a clean network and enjoyable gaming for the future..

Yo people listen up... i am so sick and tired of hearing all the whining about the cheaters and yet when someone goes out of their way to try and fkn help you all out, no one can be bothered to try and help get rid of these lame A holes... if you really are sick of cheaters and want to try and get rid of the scumbags, stop running your mouths and start taking action..

I have sorted a petition to sony to force them to take real action against the cheating scum the screw up our games...
