it's cool that you and whoever else is is on your friends list can get a passworded room and enjoy a peaceful game, however, the rest of us who arent privvy to the password are still getting FUBAR!
All i'm asking is that everyone who is a decent and fair playing gamer, just takes 30 seconds of their time to go and sign the petition at the website. I have noticed that there is a page that comes up asking if you want to donate to the site after you sign, but this is an option only.. you can simply sign the peteition and then close the page when the donation appeal comes up. so it doesn't cost you anything!
the cheating is not just limited to socom, but it's all over the network and most of the games.. why should sony be letting them get away with ruining the experience we pay for when we buy a game?
to be honest i believe the community on this network is great and just like the real world, when people join forces they become a might force. Unfortunately though, the way it's looking right now, it is more like the real world.. no one can be bothered to fight for a cause and so nothing gets done and we all live in the crap thats left over..
come on people, why cant you just sign the petition and gve it a try, once there are enough people signed, the national press in the UK will be running a story on it, i've already contacted several consumer watchdog tv shows that are interested, but until the rest of the community show that they are bothered, nothings gonna happen!
Yes basically they should be stopped from using the network but the best we can do is report them etc.
Im not just on about friends but the Scocom commnunity are a close group of players who do not tolerate cheaters. Basically on confrontation we know who the cheaters are, we can have passworded games as we work together on sites and lastly we can vote to kick them out. However it would be much easier for them to be banned

Socom ReUnite have been taking action. But what we can do will only work on this game as there is pasworded lobbies & vote to kick
IMO Forum mods should be able to ban people from the network, if sufficient proof is provided, and we should be allowed to name and shame on the forums aswell if we have video proof of an actual exploit/cheater, not just someone with a high score, as iv'e been called a cheat myself sometimes lol.
I seen people posting vids of themselves and spamming the EU and US forums of various games boasting about their hacking, and they just get away with it, GG Sony.
