Hi everybody!

I'm a proud socom player since the first episode and, of course, I have been part of all the BETA.

I'm here because I'm thinking about writing down a list of few hints for the developers of the next Socom. I'm sure they do not need my work, but I will try to do something good for all of us, who are waiting a real next espisode since socom 1-2-3...

I will argue every statement I will write, and if I need I will proof them with links to youtube videos.

I'm talking about simple things like wideness of the maps and its ratio with the run speed and the intensity of the sight.

I they will not need it, I will know that I have done something for the cause.

So I'm asking you (and the MODs) which is the right place to post or to send my document.

bout ye all.. just a quick one.. since my Blueray drive as died, i can't play games on my ps3 unless i download them from the store, which i've done such like PLB and texas poker.... the question is.... is it worth downloading SOCOM confrontation for 20 quid.... as i want an shooter online game..

No, it's not worth £20 since the community is dwindling and the game is no longer supported by SONY.

It was decent, no one cares any more though everyone i talk to that used to play socom is dismissing this game as garbage already. Confrontation really done a number on this series as a whole.

I’ve been listening to the SOCAST for a while now and have always enjoyed them. It’s good to hear fellow SOCOMers enthusiastically discussing and debating certain issues and game features, even if I don’t always agree with them.

Not sure it’s fair to dismiss the game just yet, although you’re entitled to. Only the single player has been shown so far and even that hasn’t been talked about in great detail.

I think the game is being mis-sold/marketed in some regard. The Move controller was one thing, but demoing the game with half a DS and a light gun. I’m sorry, but that’s making a mockery of both the game and the fans.

The new “cinematic experience”, which is industry talk for “quick and easy to develop”, I detest, but if the multiplayer is the main focus and they deliver on that, then I’ll be happy.

Yeah i agree the shows are good as its nice to hear people talk about SOCOM again.

I hope they can pull out a great game and not some gimick move game. I just wish for more information on the game to be released, they must have some idea of what the multiplayer will be like?
