Hia,

I have a problem with updating my playstation when promted by Socom 4's update menu.

The update (1 of 3) gets to 96% (344.83mb) and stops, I have tried and retried over a period of a month now and still the same results.

Is this just my playstation or is this a common trait?

Please, any help or advise would be great as I am unable to play Socom at ALL until this has been resolved! Socom HELP!

common trait, many people have had this problem. I would advise not playing it anyway haha as to me it just doesnt feel like socom. You will have to wait for a fix as there has not been any work around that i am aware of

Just out of interest has anyone tried deleting the Game Data and reinstalling it again (there were reports of an issue like this when the v1.50 and v1.60 were released). This rectified the issue in most cases however.

For some people it has worked however others it has not. In the first post did he not say he tried a few times? i dont know if he deleted game data but may have just launched the game a few times

i am getting the same problem.

mine updates till 98% and doesnt continue.

I'm guessing this is the latest Socom? Special Forces?

Go to the XMB and into GAME DATA. Find Special Forces and delete it, then start the game and download the update again.

I had this problem and doing the above worked for me.

I just got the game and i have the same issue. The update goes on and on and gets stuck somewhere at 15% and on and on, it just doesn't go any further >.>
