Voted for them awhile ago. What i dont get is why people have voted it down, probably because they have never played either of the games

Some voted it down because they have rosy glasses on and want it to be the same as it was before.

But it will never be the same as it was before...I mean...even though SOCOM II had it's share of problems, everyone played it because of the community.  I can't tell you how many nights I put into that game, with my friends.

It wasn't the Golden Age of SOCOM because it was the best incarnation...it was the golden age because of who stood next to us.  o7

I disagree although i had great times with friends and my clan I believe that what kept me entertained was the skill level required to play and be good, the thrill of being the last man alive against 5 or 6 others and winning the round. The clan matches where the decider game is on a tie breaker round. It give me the thrill and adreneline that just kept me coming back for more. Sure the community was good & some are still hear today shows that they support socom still, but for me it was the gameplay that kept me coming back, the fast pased, tactical, stealthy action. The ability to customise rooms to suit everyones best interests and not stuck with the same map rotations etc. Both together created what Socom was and what it should have been. Voting down what a large section of what the socom community want will not benefit people in anyway, why vote the idea down? If it was made surely you would just not choose to buy it?

Exactly, voting the games down is just ridiculous and born out of jealousy of the once tight knit socom community

I have never found a community like SOCOM 1 and 2 in any game since then and its cost me £1000's looking for it, I think it's gone forever sadly, as is the type of unforgiving game that SOCOM was.
