The Socom 1 servers were shut down when Socom 3 came out. I don't know about Socom 2 but the Socom Combined Assault severs are still going.

this is BIGREX from OBl hotchie and myself still play socom we're both from the socom 1 trial and have played everyone since good to see theres so many of us still loyal to the series even if the latest havent been fantastic any way cu all on socom 4

wow awesome.. I used to play against a bunch of you guys in S2, my handle was Kilim. Played religously. I've owned a 360 and now PS3 but still to find an online experience that I enjoyed as a whole as much as S2.

Until I got my ps3 6 months ago I was playing CA - half a dozen guys still play as far as I'm aware. I tried connecting to S2, downloaded the 3mb patch, but there's nobody home.

I'm undecided about S4. I never bothered with Confrontation. Im currently enjoying the $15 game Modern Combat: Domination which is a CS clone so might jsut stick with that for now. The Move controls are awesome.

It'd be mental playing you guys on S2 again.
