ive been listening to the podcasts from zipper and they indicated if sony could make money from socom 2 HD it could be done... spread the word! everyone you used to know!

WOW!!! idk what made me think to log on here but i have been out of the socom ERA since call of duty and im just here to say SOCOM 2 was my all time i mean all time favorite game i will tell everyone who i played with i hope this is true Zipper...... and please can anyone tell me if socom 2 is still playable on PS2 if so i will be on it so fast i miss this game so much   SOCOM 2 MADE ONLINE GAMING WHAT IT IS TODAY..

THe original Socom 1 had a much better community. Although there were onlu around 200 regulars we still managed to organise some awesome clan tournaments etc.

Socom 2 was good but I wouldn't say it made online gaming what it is today!

true. I did have a great time with the s2 community, but that was mainly because I enjoyed yelling at kids.

You still yell at kids today sexius. 

Socom 1 community was pretty tight, even in Socom 2 with the clan features it was good.

if it wasn't for the lobby system, it would have been pretty *****.

nothing. We'll try socom 4 when its out

Socom 4 is gunna suck, it's more geared towards COD/MOH noobs, even classic mode which is supposed to be like Socom 2 is more like cod they even had E-Tags which just got removed cause of all the complaining the yanks did on the socom forums. I'm getting it but don't hold much hope it's what ost of us want.
