SOCOM Series

Hi! Today I bought a new PS2 Slim to play the awesome series of Socom and Kingdom Hearts.

I tried to start up my Socom 2, and I got online. But when I get to the page that says "Select Universe", there's nothing to choose between?

Does this mean that Socom 2 is dead? I sure as hell hope not, incase it is, screw the ones that hosted it, Socom 2 wasn't dead yet.

I think the servers are down. Think the servers got took down week after PSN got back up.

The Socom 2 servers are gone. The only PS2 socom servers still going is Socom - Combined Assault. I know this because I connected to it just before the PSN came back online.

Network Gaming got took down after PSN came back up.

american servers probably still run if you can find a way of getting on them

Simple, just  buy a Socom 2 game from US. But from what i've heard just about everyone on there uses codes.

Yea you are right they is a lot of coders on it, But you can still have fun on it. 

You need a NTSC PS2 and NTSC copy of SOCOM 2.
