Re: **Socom Guide to Getting Started**

thats what you get for playing with yanks.

and desert doesnt have a great kdr, but im sure he doesnt care. mvp ratio is probably the best stat, but it still rewards the stat whores. If you want to determine someone's skill you need to play with them over several weeks. I'm sure if I didn't have a love for screwing around TKing, suiciding n such id have better stats

Yeh started behind the 8 ball when I first picked up the game... should of made a new accoun. In saying that, you are correct, after my stats got resetted 3 times, I gave up. I enjoy having fun, whether its a funny TK pay back or chucking red smoke everywhere to attract attention :smileytongue:

Half of my stats havent been recorded because i constantly Disconnect due to my wireless. This is evident because I have sooo many incompletes, which has stopped me from moving from rank 4 even though I have like 650 games played. *Rank 4 you get after 100 games or something)

Re: Re : Re: **Socom Guide to Getting Started**

And don't tie up the comms in a game with everyday talk. Leave it for when your dead. In game you want to be able to communicate enemy positions, not talk about yesterdays lunch. Of course small brief chats are ok.

Played a quick match yesterday and these two Americans kept talking about UFC all through a match. So I tryed to get the comms just to let them know not to tie them up. After the third round of them hogging the comms so nobody else could talk, I lost it and when we respawned I yelled (so I could be heard through proximity) "SHUT THE F**K UP!!!!!"

They heard me and said "We'll talk about this after"

That's when I finally got the comms and gave them a forceful reminder not to tie the comms up (I didn't swear this time, but I did raise my voice, though not yelling). Then copped abuse from everyone else, for getting the shets.

I quit out after that, I wasn't gunna play with a pack of tools.

lol, dont play with SD6 then. We only talk about stupid ***** (mainly the male reproductive organs) even, no, especially in clan wars. Seriously though, its just a game. the main reason i play it these days is just to talk to people, the 20 kills I get every map are just a bonus

Re: Re : Re: **Socom Guide to Getting Started**

Fair enough, and your right, part of the big appeal to me is playing and talking with friends. But when it comes down to it, people will allow the comms to be used for the game when you need them to. But these guys tied up the comms and nobody else was allowed to get on them at all for three rounds. It was a bit much.

Played a couple of games recently with sd6 and spent the whole time laughing, it was great fun listening in. Even a couple of games with some of the ASO guys recently went the same way. Just laughing the whole time.
