just downloaded socom special forces which took 5 hours and tried to play it but nothing happened, tried quick game and i just got a black screen with the bullets counting up to 5 and then restarting again and thats it do i need a socom game cd or do i need to wait another 5 hours for the game to load

yeah i am also having the same problem tonight. just play something else for a few hours im sure its just something simple.

No, you do not have to wait another 5 hours to play lol and you do not need a disc. This has been happening to me also. I just got sick of it in the end and deleted the beta of my PS3 last night.

PS. On the news section of the beta, they did say that there will be something going on as they were testing the servers to full capacity or something
