Hi!

I have a problem and its only with ABBA SingStar.

Everytime I have finished playing and want to end the game, I hold the PS button and choose END GAME. Then it says: WAIT...

then nothing happens and the console restarts. This happens only with SingStar ABBA, no other game.

I have tried both been logged on to SingStore and off logged without ant results, and I'm on the main page when ending the game.

Anyone else with this problem?

Hey everyone,

I found a way around this problem, it's a bit of a hassle, but it will save you the trouble of having the PS3 reset itself everytime you want to end Singstar ABBA, which will inturn save you from (possibly) causing damage to the PS3. However, it requires a PS3 Singstar disc other than Singstar ABBA, here's the details:

Firstly, do not start a Singstar game on the PS3 with the ABBA PS3 disc, start by popping in a different PS3 Singstar disc instead, then simply disc swap to the ABBA disc afterwards. In this way, even if you end the game while the ABBA disc is inserted, it won't cause a hard reset to the PS3, and you'll be taken to the PS3 main menu without any problems.

Please note (and I've tested this several times), if you start a Singstar game on the PS3 with Singstar ABBA, even if you disc swap to another Singstar disc and quit the game while the swapped disc is inserted, it will cause a hard reset to the console.

So basically, don't start a Singstar game on the PS3 with the ABBA disc, and everything should be fine.
