Last Update of this post: May 30, 2008
Note: This is not an official post from Sony. I am just a Singstar fan compiling information from the internet in an easy to read form.
Q: How many English SingStore countries are there?
As of the last update of this post, there are six countries recognized by Sony that use English as a language. They are:
Q: Can each of these countries access the same English songs?
No. While most songs are available in all countries (80% as of last update), some countries have access to more songs than others.
Q: How many English songs are accessible by each country?
As of the last update of this post:
Q: Can I buy songs from other English countries that I do not reside in?
It MAY be possible for a few people, but NOT POSSIBLE FOR MOST (99%) PEOPLE. To do so you would need a Playstation Network account in the target country (easy), a credit card issued in the target country (hard) and a billing address in the target country (hard). With these three things it MAY be possible to access and download items from another English SingStore. This is UNCONFIRMED so try at your own risk. If you use this method, it is unknown whether these songs will show up alongside your other purchased songs or whether you will have to logout and login to different PlayStation Network accounts to access them.
Q: How can I view what songs are available in my country?
To view the songs available to the US and CAN Singstore, you MUST use this "unofficial" link:
http://www.singstargame.com/en-us/Browse-Songs-Hom
To view any other country (AUS, NZ, UK, IR) simply select your country by going to the SingStar homepage: http://www.singstargame.com
You can easily see what songs are available in each country by simply clicking the "Change Country" link at the top of the page on the SingStar "Browse Song" pages. As of the last update of this post, they have not added USA and CAN to this list so that is why you must access the store list through the "unofficial" link above. Eventually this will be fixed.
Q: Why are the SingStar Developers doing this?
The SingStar developers are trying their best to insure there are no regional exclusives. This is one of their goals and the fact that 80% of the songs are available to the entire world is quite an achivement. The thing that stops this from being 100% are licensing and censorship issues. They are doing their best so please be patient. However, you should accept the fact that while another English country has access to a certain song, you may NEVER get access to the same song. There is absolutely nothing you can do about it so instead of whining or complaining about it, just move on.

Q: What is the breakdown of English songs by country and letter?
Note: I am aware that the US/CAN total of 200 doesn't equal the 220 from above. The US list is still "unofficial" and isn't working all that great at the moment. I am pretty confident that the offical total is 220.

DEF 49 47 33

Thanks for the info guys.
Unfortunately for some odd reason this board only lets you edit your post 1 or 2 times which is disappointing. I guess I'll have to include updates as replies unless the moderators can grant some sort of special powers.
As phillipathens pointed out, the only two english songs not available in the UK SingStore are:
Franz Ferdinand - Do You Want To
Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
These songs are available everywhere else though. Oh well, missing 2 songs is much better than missing 56 songs.
