I recently bought singstar and the box is marked "singstar +singstore", There is money in my playstation store wallet and I am able to browse singstore, listen to previews etc.

However, every song has a padlock instead of a price and no song or collection can be added to the shopping cart. When I view the details for a song the description reads (in swedish) "There is no description at the moment".

I have verified that I am indeed logged on to the playstation store.

Am I doing something wrong here? How can this be fixed?

Hey, I recently bought PS3 + Singstar pack. I have this same exact problem, frustrating. There is money in my PS wallet and working credit card details put in.

Seriously, can someone give some answers to this issue? Just bought a Ps3 + singstar party pack but can't like use anything and everyone seems to ignore this issue aswell. (swe)

Bumping this because my wife is agressively questioning us buying ps3, singstar and microphones in the first place if singstore is not going to work.

Since I can play NHL12 online with no problems and buy games in the regular playstation store I'm fairly certain I'm not having network misconfiguration problems. I'm guessing one possibility might be that there is some error in the singstore geoip database. We seem to be several people from .se and .fi experiencing the exact same problem so it doesn't seem to be too far fetched that the problem is related to regions. Maybe our IP addresses aren't mapped to a region and thus we might not be allowed to buy anything?

I could be guessing all night but it would nice to get some kind of sign that someone who can do something about this is even listening or even better, trying to do something about it. It's been over a week since I posted this issue now and I can't really find a support section on the website..

I bought Singstar Partypack for my son as a birthday present. The disappointment was huge when we faced the same issue: all songs in singstore with padlock and not possible to be purchased. I'm from Finland.

I found this information from a Finnish forum: http://www.konsolifin.net/bbs/yleista-keskustelua-ps3-peleista/33108-singstar-playstation-3-a-59.htm.... For non-Finnish speaking: it says that there are some customers having issues with singstore but the issues have not yet been solved by the service provider. I hope they are working hard to get this resolved as they apparently are aware of the problem.
