I would like to know how to download new songs from the SingStore (using Singstar)?

You can purchase and download songs on SingStar by going to the SingStore.
Insert your SingStar disc, select "online" option and then choose SingStore.
From here you can select and purchase any song you desire that you can see on the SingStore.
The videos of those songs will be included as part of the purchase.

If you are playing SingStar and wish to purchase songs to add to your collection, one of the ways this can be done is through the SingStore (in game).
The following is a guide you will need to go through to purchase this content:
1) You must first ensure you have the latest update patch for SingStar. If your PlayStation 3 is connected online already, you will be prompted to download the update when you initially start the software.
2) When the software has installed and you are navigating SingStar for the first time you will be asked to create a profile in which you select your username (this will be visible to others) as well as you favourite tracks from the collection already in the library.
3) In the main menu of SingStar you will find the option Online which will redirect you to a separate menu page.
4) On this page is the option for Singstore, which is the online store for purchasing songs and music packs. (When creating your profile you will initially be prompted to accept the Terms and Conditions for online. If you have not created a profile and use the SingStore you will be prompted to accept these terms to proceed any further).
5) Once on the store there will be the option of different music categories to select:
- Select the Song Pack/Song you would like to download.
- Press X and the selected Item will be added to your shopping cart
- You can press circle to go back at any time and browse for more music to be added to the shopping cart.
- Once you have decided you would like to purchase the song, you will need to press square which will take you to View Cart.
- Pressing square again will take you to the Checkout page where you can confirm the purchase or add funds to your wallet to buy the item.
6) The item will download to the console and you will be able to view your purchased items by going back into SingStore, and navigating to My SingStore which will list the items you have purchased before.
7) The downloaded song will appear in this carousel with a yellow star above indicating it is a new song.
Once downloaded, SingStar content will be linked to your PlayStation 3 and can only be downloaded on the account it is purchased on through the console.
