Hi SingStar Team,
Here is my feedback for the 4.30 patch:
1) Since downloading the patch, I have lost a large number of songs with the error I am sure you are familiar with: "Usage Rights". It is asking me to delete and re-download several tracks claiming that the user who downloaded them now doesn't exist - even though no user accounts or player names have been altered.
I know that deleting a track will wipe the scoreboard - something I do not want to do.
2) Adding PS3 Profiles to the name list is a welcome addition - thank you. However, the photo used as the profile image on the XMB does not show up as the default player photo in SingStar - instead we get a generic smiley face icon. Could this be fixed?
3) You've added the 'SingStore' on demand feature to the Carousel - nice feature, but you've assigned this to the 'Square' button, which used to be to shuffle songs. Now this is assigned to 'R3'.
I'd argue that shuffling the Caroursel to select a random track is more useful than to show 500+ tracks I do not own - this should remain the function of the square button. The R3 button should be the one used to show On Demand songs.
4) The local leaderboards show whether a song was completed as a 'Short' or 'Normal' length song via the disc icon. However, when playing back an Audio Playback, the legend that pops up to give the song name uses the 'Full Disc' icon, even for short songs.
PLEASE fix these issues - most importantly addressing the issue with lost songs.
How these patches pass QA testing is beyond me - this severely damages your reputation with a very loyal user base, who have invested a lot of money into SingStar.
Once again I ask to join the closed beta team, so I can help eliminate these issues before the rest of your user base has to suffer.
Please see my other discussion thread for possible future features.
Good luck on a fast and effective fix to this fix.

Okay, here's an odd one; was playing this Friday night and Bohemian Rhapsody vanished from the carousel! I had it as part of a song pack and it only reappeared after I put in a disc that has it on.
I also bought "Don't Stop me Now" which eventually downloaded (after a few attempts) but when I go into the carousel it does the "updating" part but the song doesn't appear! I am wondering if it is because it is actually part of one of the Queen song packs only and as such isn't available singularly (even though it let me buy it as such). So this means I have paid for a song which I do not now have, I am unwilling to purchase the rest of that pack as i'm really not that fussed about it (the song was for my mate). I know it's only $2.45 but money's money.
So what happens now? Is there a way to refund me this song? If the reason IS because it is only part of a pack then maybe the code needs to be changed to stop them being advertised as a single price to prevent the same happening to others.
