Does this mean I can't save my game if I'm playing on the PS3?
Will I be able to have the "virtual memory card" in and still have it go past the first loading screen IF I turn my pad back on BEFORE the console asks me to?

Saving game isn't a problem... the only issue I'm having is sorted by not turning on my wireless controller until the game asks me to. It auto turns off when you load a PS2 game, you see.
If you are still having trouble, remove your virtual memory cards, then re-add them back in when the title screen appears. Should work.

The first time I tried to play the game it froze after the loading part and my screen remained blank. I quitted the game, came back to the ps3 screen and chose the option to play the game again. And it worked. I played it for a long time and even saved profiles without having any problems.
But today, I tried to play the game again and it didn't work - my screen went blank like in my first attempt. I tried to do the same thing I had done yesterday but it didn't work.
So, after reading this thread, I've tried removing the virtual memory stick and only turning on the wireless controler when asked but it still doesn't load.
Can anyone tell me if I'm doing something wrong?

Just a quick question really - Why was SingStar Disney released on PS2 only and not on PS3 as well?
I'd have bought it had it been on PS3, but I don't want a PS2 box sitting on my shelf of PS3 titles. Call me fussy, but I can't see why they support an older platform more than its replacement.
Will it ever come out on PS3?

It appears SingStar Singalong with Disney (PS2) was only released in the U.K.
If I were to purchase SingStar Singalong with Disney (PS2) from the U.K., will I be able to use it with my U.S. PS3 Singstar (disc-swap to load the Disney songs, etc.)?

re: SingStar singalong with Disney for PS2 (U.K.) disc, in a U.S. PS3 slim
If I start with a PS3 SingStar disc and try to swap discs at the Carousel to the above disc, I get:
"This is not a SingStar disc."
If I try to launch the game with the above disc, I get
"This model of the PS3 system is not compatible with PlayStation2 format software."
I'll try this out on a fat PS3 (backwards compatible with PS2) and see what happens.

Fat PS3 (U.S.) recognizes the disc as a PS2 disc, but says: "This software cannot be started due to region restrictions."
