Hi folks,
I'm wondering if someone might be able to help?
I bought the Singstar Party Pack (wireless microphones with voucher for 20 songs) for my daughter for Christmas. She's 9 so has a sub-account attached to my PSN account. This evening we tried downloading the Singstar app for the PS3 and the songs, we could download Singstar fine using her account but when it came to downloading the songs, after entering the code in the PlayStation Store it recognises the code and gives her the credits for 20 songs but she isn't able to download any songs. If she tries to choose an artist it comes up with no content found.
We also tried the Singstore in the Singstar app but it won't let her connect (it comes up with a message about the online features being disabled on her sub account).
If I try and login with my PSN account I can see a list of songs in the Singstore but I'm unable to enter the voucher code again as it's been used already.
So we're a bit stuck, I can see the songs but can't download them and my daughter has credits to download the songs but can't see any songs :-P
I've tried looking at her account settings and my master account settings but I can't seem to find a way of enabling the online.
So I wondered if anyone might be able to help?
Ta,
TK

I may be wrong but isn't the downloadable "SingStar" just a viewer?
I did notice it had changed slightly in some parts so maybe it _is_ now the full monty. Previously you still needed a SingStar disc to play or buy songs. The viewer (DLC App) was only used for viewing new songs or community content. A post from years ago highlighting what the viewer was for can be found here.
