me too ,5 songs charged but not able to download

So two days after my order I've just checked my singstore and found the songs I bought now appear in my purchase history. I've started downloading them and it seems to be working. Fingers crossed that they all download.
I can't believe there hasn't been any acknowledgement from Sony of this problem - after all people are paying money for a product that they are then not getting when they should. Still, you should check to see if you can now get the songs you bought.

SingStar Viewer... if you quit using the XMB, PS3 crashes, beeps 3 times and reboots. Quitting by holding down the PS button doesn't cause it to crash.
The games... where do I start?
- The time it takes for the game to boot, is now longer than ever (I thought it froze).
- It randomly crashes and reboots the PS3.
- 10 of my songs (all of which had dance add-ons) disappeared from my carousel and had to be re-downloaded (the dance add-ons were still on my hard drive apparently).
- Downloading from the SingStore is broken... you click to download a song and it either does nothing, or it disappears from the Purchase History... i've found that exiting the SingStore, then going back into my Purchase History, they re-appear and after a couple of attempts, actually download.
There are probably other issues too - i'm yet to try PS2 discs!
You have to wonder if they actually test these patches/updates. This isn't the first time this has happened. What's the bet the August 10 SingStore update will now be delayed because of this?
Did we really need this update?
Seriously SingStar... perhaps instead of updating a 4+ year old game engine, you actually develop and release a new title that is backwards compatible with existing DLC, and include all the new features (and new trophies) on that... after it has been tested properly of course!

Same thing has happened to me. Purchased 4 songs last night, tried to download and nothing happened. Money has gone from CreditWallet and I get an error message if I try to re-purchase the same songs. No sign of them in my Purchase History so can't download them. I've tried it with the Dance disc and the Viewer and neither show the songs.
Hopefully they'll turn up in a few days time like they have for others? ![]()

Hey AbZorba, go to Account Management (found under the “PlayStation Network” area of the XMB), Transaction Management, Services List, click on Singstar, and see if the recent purchases you made appear there.
If they're in the list, you should be able to download them (eventually).
Load up Singstar, go to the SingStore, My SingStore, Purchase History and try click on them to download them. If it doesn't work at first and they disappear from the list, press CIRCLE to go back, then go back to your Purchase History, they should appear eventually and you should be able to download them. I found that pressing the SQUARE button (download all), seemed to do the trick.
This is the 2nd time they've released an update that's caused crashes and DLC to go missing, yet still no official response, apology or acknowledgement from the SingStar Team or London Studios on here or their Facebook page.

Thanks - I can see them in my Transaction History on the XMB so I'll give that a try,

I'm glad I started this thread now, stopped me buying any songs since the update ![]()

Re: Singstar Viewer crashing the PS3 system when quitting game via PS button.
1) If you hold down the PS button for 2 seconds then choose: 'Quit Game', the system will not crash.
2) If you tap the PS button and choose: 'Quit Game' (Singstar Viewer) from the XMB bar, the PS3 system will crash.
This system crash bug only seems to occur when using Singstar Viewer and not the Singstar game discs.
This is a temporary workaround fix, until the bug is fixed in update 5.13.

Yep... I said that in my previous post "SingStar Viewer... if you quit using the XMB, PS3 crashes, beeps 3 times and reboots. Quitting by holding down the PS button doesn't cause it to crash."
Although it doesn't seem to affect the game discs in the same way, they too randomly crash. I haven't been able to figure out exactly what causes the PS3 to crash, but it's done it whilst singing a song, and also whilst browsing the carousel.
Basically, 5.12 is buggy as hell, and shame on London Studios/SingStar not even acknowledging and apologising for the inconvenience... again!
It's bad enough that it crashes, but DLC's gone missing and needs to be re-downloaded, and when you try download anything, that is a major pain in the rear. There are also reports that some DLC has been altered (eg. doesn't sound the same, the audio quality is lower, it's become a karaoke track where the original song's vocals have disappeared).
We probably won't have an update this week because of this "un-necessary" update.
What annoys me the most is that NO-ONE from London Studios/SingStar has commented on here or the Facebook page about the problems and if/when a fix will be made available.
