I have been saying this for a long time. Since Dancestar was released (which killed SingStar Dance even though it is a very poor "upgrade" by comparison), London Studios don't give a rats behind about those that have spent hundreds of pounds on Singstar tracks & discs, and expect everyone to go out & buy Dancestar. One problem London Studios, a lot of people don't have the room to "dance" and there are a lot of players out there who are WHEELCHAIR bound or DISABLED who used to play Singstar simply because they did not have to move about etc (myself included there!!!). Even my 9 yr old stepdaughter has lost interest in Singstar due to the crap updates, and we used to play it at party's a lot after a few drinks, but now it doesn't even get switched on & instead play other similar games on competing consoles instead as the tracks that have not been updated for 18 months are more RECENT & BETTER than what are on Singstar!!!!!!
I won't be buying any more updates for Singstar until they sort something out that gives people that updates they want rather than what London Studios want to sing themselves (don't blame licensing for it either as that is a cop out when they can license recent songs for Dancestar instead!!).
Either completely shut the franchise down and let the other games (& consoles) out there take over the new content rather than try to keep it Sony only, or give the players what they want instead of stating that London Studios is not profitable, etc........
