Sorry Aaron, but I refuse to be beaten on this. :smileytongue:

holy moly batman!

it's great to see some friendly competition going on here! keep up the good work guys cause in the coming weeks you're going to have to bring your A game to the league as we've lined up a special guest for you to try and beat. more of that in the coming days.....

*taps side of nose*

onto tomorrow. tilly and i are still looking at drops to do but to let you know the trick event will be slightly different. instead of getting the highest score your challenge will be to get the closest to 10 million points. it seems tilly - he's a clumsy so and so - knocked over a box in the SSX helicopter, spilling its contents . well we thought "if it's laying there, then why not?" and promptly took the contents. so there just might be a little something to the person who posts the closest score to 10 million.

we'll assign points in the tricky event like we do in the other events and not give points based on how many millions you get. remember it will be your score you post on the leaderboard that will count. so for example you post a score of 9,800,000 and then think you can get closer but come over the finishing line on another run at 11,000,000 then that score will be counted as yours. so trick wisely!!!

'

good luck!

Thats a nice twist to the trick events. So how does it work. Scoring goes from the closest to 10 mil to the furtest away? as in the person with 9,999,999 would come first and get the full 15 points then someone with a score of 10,000,002 or 9,999,998 would come second and get the 12 points?

yup. you nailed it on the head. plus, like i wrote, there might be something for the person who comes closest.

So is your attempt nullified if you go over 10 mil?

no not at all! we will take the score that is on the leader board. so if you post a score of 11,000,000 then even if you can go lower the leader board won't show that as it is only going to show your "highest" score. so i recommend trying to aim for 8,000,000 first and work your way up to a close to 10 million after that. if you know your score is going to be well over 10 million then cancel the run before crossing the line. that way it won't register a high score and give you another chance to get close to 10 million.

Re: Über Tuesdays - The SSX League

Can't believe it, got to work today after all so won't have time to improve on my score!
Will try and sneak a run in when I get home.
