Hi guys and girls!
Firstly, I completely forgot about updating the league table but have now corrected my mistake (and taken 40 lashings for being so slow in doing it 
). In my defence I would like to say that the Olympics got in my way...
Talking of which, as promised Nick and I have been busy chatting away and trying to arrange a special event in light of the great sporting event that is happening at this moment in London. So this Tuesday, the 31st, we are proud to announce that we will be hosting the "Summer 2012 Special Event" (we're not allowed to use the "O" word I used in the first paragraph due to legal issues 
). So what's so special about it?
Firstly, Todd Batty will be showing up again! He's trying to rope a few others in from EA to be there but he'll be there and we'll get a chance to prove ourselves against one of the designers of SSX.
Secondly, there will be three 3 hour events set up under the SSX_Event account for Tuesday night. Note this well!
Thirdly, as the name of the event suggest the figure "2012" will be very dominant. In each of the three events your goal will not be the biggest score or the fastest time. Your goal will be to get as close to 2012 as humanly possible. So....
Survival = as close to 2012 meters
Trick = as close to a score of 2012 (it can be done)
Race = post a time as close to 2:01.2
(Here's some hints for the Trick event. As rewinds will not be available, one way of lowing your score is to boost back up the mountain. Try and avoid grinding on rails and don't perform any stunts!)
Due to the fact that we will be having three 3-hour events on Tuesday we'll shake up the 7-day event. From the 31st July through the 7th August we'll have three 7-day events. 2 will be Race, and the last event will be Trick. Wingsuits will be allowed on the Race events and there will be no limit set on equipment. This will give Todd a chance to shine (and then give us 7 days to try and catch him!)
Finally, I've updated the events calendar to reflect the above but have not filled in the mountain drops, etc. We don't want you practising in advance If you have any questions feel free to post them.

That sounds tough to clock a time like that. Sounds like a fun challenge though guys ;-)
I wasn't sure as its never been reqd before, so ive just had a check.. And yep going backwards on a survival doesn't minus anything off your meters.. Hope there are some trees or rocks around to faceplant into.
