Don't know why there isn't any commentary, not sure if it's because it's a demo or they just haven't included it in the game.
I thought the passing seemed a lot slower. I've been getting sacked a lot more because I can't release the ball fast enough, or it could just be the defense has improved
I love the game. Never played online though. Perhaps I could pop my online Madden cherry when you guys get the new one.
I must say it is really good some cool new features like the players hot streak and cold streak of the players changing during match.
My QB even was affected by pressure which meant his passed way too quickly. I do have to say this is the pre season sub QB and not my main one. Tom Brady. He would never pass too quickly 
I got my copy yesterday and have only played a few games so far, but in the short time I have played I've found it a lot better then madden 11.
There's still little things that annoy you after a while, mainly the commentary but overall its a very good game.
Word of warning LordRoss about online, you can get some very, very good players who will literally tear you apart. I've been playing madden games for years now, I have a decent understanding of the sport and players, but when it comes to playing an american online I don't stand a chance
