Back in December 2010, EA made a rather exciting announcement about SSX, after a 4 year gap, it was announced that there would be a brand new SSX title!
As a massive fan of this franchise, I was excited by this news, more than a grown man should be perhaps!
So I am dedicating this post to the progress of the game and will be updating it more and more as new details are released!
Before kicking off with the new version, shall we have a look back at the old releases?

One of the first things EA released to tease us with is this epic Teaser Trailer which was first released last December.
Teaser Trailer (Released 13/12/10)

Looks pretty awesome doesn’t it! The trailer however has given a lot of people the wrong impression on which way the game is going to be made, rumour has it, it isn’t going to be anywhere near as dark as this trailer makes it out to be..

Now, this is exciting, some behind the scenes footage from EA Vancouver, which is the first part of three Video Blog entries being released by EA!

Always good to have a look behind the scenes and get a look at the dev team, it’s also reassuring to see that some of the developers go back to the early days of the franchise, hopefully meaning none of the magic will be lost..
News Update 13/04/2011
During EA’s Season Opener event on April 12th, SSX creative director Todd Batty revealed a launch window for the snowboarding revival: January 2012. The game will be playable at E3 in June.

There's a Link in this thread to the main EA website for ssx deadly decents. There are3 videos currently, a trailer, and two parts of the devs diary, called 'bringing back ssx'. The third part will be available this Monday. The videos, so far sound really exciting, in the way they devs are going about making this game. The Video "part 2" is very interesting, loosely describing the graphics and game physics, also take note of the brief to which they are building the game around.
