Well, that white booklet with all the safety stuff inside it was the manual. Quite a few big publishers are going down the route of minimal manuals... which saddens me a bit.

for me buying the limited edition game from the store game was the only option as it included the extra character and mountain drop. but not getting the code in the box for them and only the online pass was a bit of a shock. it wasnt until i phoned the store up to ask about this, the manager told me the extra content was for pre orders only. when i told him that it said that it was included in the game he gave me the codes for the content over the phone. he had said that the store didnt get a memo telling them to give the codes out with the game but that this should have been the case.

Bought mine online, still havn't received my code. I emailed them yesterday but no reply so far :/ might have to give them a call later.

I just got this email back from them.

"Hi,

The preorder promotion was sent via email on the afternoon of release. This promotion was only applicable to customers who have preorder the item whilst the promotion was advertised on our website. Any customers who have preordered the item after the promotion was removed will not receive this preorder promotion. Regrettably having viewed your order unfortunately you placed this order after the promotion was removed.

I apologise for any disappointment caused.

Now I'm no legal expert but isn't this false advertising? I ordered mine on Sunday, it was still available on the GAME website and sure enough I received the Limited Edition copy through the post the next day. 

On the FRONT of the game box it clearly states, 'LIMITED EDITION' in caps along the top and  'INCLUDES EDDIE WACHOWSKI AND THE ICONIC MT.FUJI, JAPAN' on the bottom left. Nowhere it mentions that I can't have this content if I order after release date which is also the case on the GAME.co.uk website.

I've emailed them back stating this and asking what they plan on doing about it. Any ideas of our rights as a consumer? Surely this goes completely against them!

Anyone else in this situation?

Am I right in saying it was a pre order bonus? You don't get it if you didn't pre order it.

Well that's what they're telling me now in their return email but nowhere does it say that on the box or on the website. I'm not too bothered about the dlc but it's the principal.

The box makes it sound like the card should be inside! Which it isn't.

I Pre-ordered it from game too and didn't receive my code.  I emailed them 2 days ago and i'm still awaiting a response from them.

I only ordered it from them for their DLC, as it seemed better than all the rest.  Lets see what they say, i ordered it when the promotion was on about 3 weeks before release....

I phoned them up Friday night as I was fed up of waiting for a reply in email. I was on hold for 30mins, when I finally got through the woman asked me for my email address, name and order number, within 2 minutes I had both codes in my inbox. I'd also phoned EA the day before and they'd happily given me both codes (although the Mt Fuji one was an xbox one I think, 24 characters long!) and basically said GAME were idiots haha.
