In an attempt to get the 50k Global Event badge for players, EA is holding a two week global event. Here's a mini breakdown:

Tuesday, 13 March 2012 at 00:30 until Tuesday, 27 March 2012 at 00:00
Alps - Vorassay - Beyond the Fall - Trick It!

If the goal is reached, the level cap will be raised to 11 along with a new set of level 11 gear.

I was going to post this later once i'd finished work, as I dont know how to paste the the facebook / ssx links etc on my phone..

Please all join this guys if you can. Even if you somehow already have the 50k badge, could you still join in to help the rest of the ssx / forum community. Thanks :-)


It might also be worth a mention (i dont know how true this is) but it was posted on another site that.. Once the total participants is 50k+, you might have to play a second time. As the trophy states 'join' a global event with 50000 people in it..???

If this 50k riders wont happen they have to f-ing patch it. It is the only badge  i dont have

Is this just for the Trick It or does the Race It event count?

I noticed there are 23,514 riders for Race It and 22,121 riders for Trick It.

Total Vorassay riders are 45,758.

Surely it must be 50k riders for that entire mountain? There is no way they will get that many riders for one event.

I just set a Platinum time on Race It 1:22.66 woohoo!

Woah what happened? i haven't checked the total riders for the events in a few days and suddenly the Vorassay Race It event is suddenly on 43344 riders !

The Trick It event is still on 26570 though, hmm, anyone think there may have been some slight dev intervention?
