Thought I'd try and sneak a Tiger thread in amongst all the SSX threads

So, who's tried the demo?

I haven't played since Tiger 10 but will be picking this one up. Fancy getting into the swing of it again (see what I did there!)

The demo seems decent, a few button layouts have changed since I last played the series but the essence is still the same.

The pins seems an interesting addition.  It used to be the clubs/clothes you had that improved stats but now you can add pins to a player to improve stats and even reduce the effect of the wind.

The country club sounds like a good way to get the community together so i'll certainly look at setting an OPC one up on release. you can earn points & coins to get access to some DLC.

You also get to play tiger legacy, where you start off as tiger when he was a child.

The masters edition gives you access to the par 3 course (sweet!) and also some additional courses. also includes the famous green jacket presentation (assuming you win!)

anyone else planning on picking this up?

i'll be getting it ordered the masters edition,had all the tiger woods games since 2008 and they get better and better,after playing the demo graphics have improved a lot and the crowds are more lifelike pins are a good addition aswell as the country club

The demo is a shocker. Sorry but I have to compare it to the 360 demo. Even on the 360 it's good. Tw 12 looked stunning on the 360 good and the ps3 but nowhere near as good as on the Xbox. I am a massive tw golf games fan and usually buy it on both consoles.last year I bought it on both but quickly got rid of the ps3 version. I was thinking about getting tw13 on both until I saw the demo . I don't understand why a company would put out a game with so many bugs and shortcomings. As I said the Xbox Demo is not that good when compared to tw12, but it's a lot better than the ps3 version where the graphics are totally horrendous. Now tw11 was better on the ps3 but the game was awful. Why am I going on about comparisons between the 2 versions? It just iritates me that there are such big differences. They were very apparent on tw12 and well let's just say that EA have lost a sale for tw13, because I would have bought both versions. But a £40 a pop I am not taking a chance this time. I am even a little hesitant about getting it on the 360. I was that disappointed with this demo.

I tried the demo and quite enjoyed it.

I may rent a copy or purchase it at a reduced price.

Just received this in the post today. Got the Masters Collector's Edition. Spent a few hours setting things up with my golfer. Game Face took an age. Had a few annoying things happen. But once I got on the course, and adjusted to the new set up. I really enjoyed it

i picked up a tiger woods game when the ps3 came out. was it tw07 or tw08? can't remember.... i did enjoy it (to a point) but i prefer the real deal. not suprising considering my username...
