Bit late in the day for this post.  But how did everyone go?? I did not win a cent as i put my $$ on so you think and shocking *Fail* grrr.

All in all tho a fun day lol

Doesn't surprise me one bit that So You Think didn't win.

I don't want to get all conspiracy-theorist... but these things do just make you wonder about fixing and false odds... the horse had never raced that distance (3.1Km or something) at least not in recent times, but all the bookies were giving incredibly short odds, this morning it was doing $3.10 while the next horse had blown out to $9.00... The bookies were going to make a loss or at the very best a much lower profit if So You Think won.

I know it's the least well-kept secret on earth that the TAB is like Vegas, the house always wins... but I believe they either offered tantilising odds on a horse they knew couldn't go the distance or offered the jockey an incentive to not push the horse all the way to the finish line.

I didn't put a bet on but my mum placed each way bets on the horses that came 1st, 2nd & 3rd. She only put a couple of bucks on each though so she only won like $21.

LOL someone i know also won, they put $5 on the winning horse and $20 on so you think.... round the other would have been better haha
