Re: The Official Formula 1 2010 Thread

nah the prices are set for the whole season, last year there was no cost saving bonus, but the best combination of button, vettel, brawn, brawn was very cheap cause they were wrote off due to honda being really bad in 2008

hopefully we all dont have similar picks once again

Re: The Official Formula 1 2010 Thread

It was alot better race imo, but it was basically cause of the rain. I feel really bad for Vettel as well, 2 races, 2 first places, 2 car issues. So disappointing really.

Maybe the FIA can install undertrack sprinklers and make all races wet ?

Re: The Official Formula 1 2010 Thread

I do enjoy wet races for the randomness they can throw up but equally you wouldn't want every race to be that unpredictable. I think the better option is to pursue changes with tyre compounds and something similar to what A1GP had where drivers had a number of "boosts" for the race where they would receive extra horsepower for 7 or so seconds. Kers last year showed how exciting that can be but because it was virtually unlimited throughout the race and not everyone had it the racing was arguably a little unbalanced at times. Just look at Spa where Fisi was clearly faster but Kimi was able to keep the lead by using Kers on all the straights.

Re: The Official Formula 1 2010 Thread

Malaysia this weekend, forcast is Rain, Rain and more Rain, so hopefully it doesnt get washed out like it did last year. Apparantly the really bad stuff hits at 6pm like clockwork so we may avoid it :smileyhappy:

Race starts at 4pm local, which is 6pm NSW time (please note that daylight savings ends between this saturday and sunday so you dont get your time conversion wrong). Ive got a feeling that Red Bull will sort themselves out this weekend and get themselves on the podium finally, if its a dry race i am predicting Massa or maybe Alonso to win, if it is rain affected then probably one of the red bulls.

I could sign up to the sight before, but I'm unable to join up to your league. Error message below. Apparently it's because I signed up after Bahrain.

Your request to join a league has not been successful, this is because:

  • You did not join Reality F1 before the first race of the season. This means, as stated in the rules, you are not eligible to join any mini-leagues.
