I reckon they could be a big chance this year. There are alot of very strong teams this year as well though and there are still possible big moves to come between now and then..

4pm - Dallas vs Miami

6pm - Chicago Vs Lakers

8pm - Magic vs Thunder

10pm - Clippers vs Warriors

No.

They have a great building block of Paul/Griffin/Jordan but they have no depth. Butler is not the same player he was and Billups is on the decline but still brings alot to the team. Mo Williams will hopefully bring a scoring punch off the bench but the Clips will be looking to trade him from the season's start as at this stage they would rather have Bledsoe/Foye backing up Paul/Billups. Trey Thompkins is an intriguing prospect but after that the bench thins out to Gomes/Cook/Leslie.

The will show a marked improvement but still a few peices away from being a legit contender.

^ They are the team to beat in the West. I don't see anyone making it past Miami though. With that being said, the Hawks have possibly found a ***** in the Heat's armour.....zone defense. The Hawks are the only team to beat Miami this year and when playing zone the Heat looked quite average. Getting the ball in the paint should not be your offense's first opition.....or even in your top 5 options.

Miami would be better suited with a dominant centre instead of Bosh. I think that's the cause of their issues.
