Re: What book are you reading at the moment?

Currently my ipod is reading Judas Unchained by Peter F Hamilton, which is the sequel to Pandora's Star,

to me in the car during my hour long drive to work (and home again). I love technology. It's interesting that one is unable to read and listen to someone else reading aloud at the same time but you can drive without being distracted at all. It sure makes the drive more pleasant. I don't think I could read the whole book otherwise. Fifty hours: the hardback must be as big as a breeze block.

Just finished reading 'The Wolf of Wall Street' and 'Catching the Wolf of Wall Street' by Jordan Belfort. Anyone not familiar with Jordan Belfort, he ran New York brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont. Jordan's autobiographies cover his rise to the top at an extremely young age, and his subsequent fall, eventually spending time in prison for fraud.

Jordan lived a life of extreme excess, drugs, hookers, week long parties... It's a hell of a read! Jordan is now a successful Pulic Speaker and Motivator, recently touring Australia and selling out his tour down here.

A movie titled 'The Wolf Of Wall Street', starring leonardo DeCaprio as Jordan is in the early stages of production now... Can't wait for that one!

I'm about to start reading 'One Magical Sunday' by Phil Mickelson. The story of the day he finally won the US Open!

Re: What book are you reading at the moment?

Have moved on and am now currently reading Driven to Distraction by the legendary Jeremy Clarkson. Not really a book per say, it is just a collection of articles from his column in The Sun. It includes such topics as:

* The prospect of having Terry Wogan as president
* Why you`ll never see a woman driving a Lexus
* The unforeseen consequences of inadequate birth control
* Why everyone should spend a weekend with a digger

Quite an interesting and funny read. Good for reading in small bursts.
