It's that time of the year again when we are introduced to one of the most exciting racing series in Europe, the British Touring Car Championship. This close contact fast paced action pack racing series is back again this weeking for the 2013 season at the great Brands Hatch circuit.
Will Gordon Sheddon be able to defend his title? Who are you supporting?
The races will be live on ITV 4 and ITV 4 HD with the highlights being shown the week after.
I have been a fan of the BTCC for a long time, I used to go to the races a lot when I was younger and I was a big fan of Rydell and his Volvo S40. These days, living in Spain, I can't go to the races but I now support Matt Neal, used to see him racing in his Team Dynamics Nissan Primera and even got to sit in his car back in the day. Below are some videos to wet your appetite :D

One of the best races ever, Nigel Mansell at Donnington in 1998

and the awesome S40 of Rydell :D
Feel free to chat away about the BTCC season as well as anything else BTCC :D
A great qualifying session at Brands Hatch. With not even 2 laps complete there was an incident invlolving 4 cars causing a red flag, on the qualifying restart there were more spins than a waltzer.
Here are the times, less than a second between the top 13, should be an awesome race tomorrow. Starting live at 10:45am on ITV4.
An excellent performance all round from my boys! :( But that's okay, we'll just blow you all away in the races instead :D
spolier so if you do not know the result just do not press if you have recorded it
Yeah I felt sorry for him aswell, especially in the interview at the end although later on his team tweeted the car wasn't that bad so fingers crossed for Donnington Park.
