Using England's money to build new stadiums because (excluding 2 or 3) they're all *****? Awesome.

Ummmmm

Scotland:

Ibrox

Parkhead

Hampden

Murrayfield (is open to being used for football)

Aberdeen have a new stadium in the works.

Wales:

Millenium Stadium

Cardiff City Stadium (needs a capacity increase maybe)

Liberty Stadium (needs a capcity increase maybe)

Ireland:

Aviva Stadium

Several stadia that are large but used for hurling/gaelic football and I am sure could be convinced to get involved.

So two would need an upgrade (possibly). Not exactly a money pit that would take millions upon milions.

So, pretty much every stadium would need some work doing to it. England however...

England needed 7 stadiums recieving a massive overhaul if they had a decent bid that could have won the World Cup.

Wales has one stadium rated 5/5 by UEFA. Ireland has two stadiums rated 5/5 by UEFA. Scotland has one stadium rated 5/5 by UEFA. Four stadiums right there that already qualify for Euro Championships Finals Final status, also Champions League Final status.

England only has Old Trafford and Wembley, so they are doing no better than the Irish or the Welsh and Scottish combined in terms of hosting a final to a major event. Two of the Welsh stadiums will need stadium increases, I am glad that if we are successful you tax payments will pay for it. Thanks :)

The Playoff finals are this weekend, just wondering if anyone's going?

Personally I am going to watch the League 2 play Off Final as my hometown Crewe play Cheltenham.

Fingers crossed for a good result.

Following an English clubs long overdue victory in penalty shootouts against foreign opposition, the worlds most prominent corrupt, anti-british organisational leader has called for an end to penality shootouts.

Labelling the shootout mechanism a "tragedy", after English club Chelsea clinched victory of German club Bayern Munich, it is the first instance we know of where Sepp Blatter feels the game loses it's essence due to the one on one method of deciding a winner. Sepp Blatter previously congratulated teams in the public domain for a competiting bravely when they were victorious of the English national team, or an English domestic club.

He previously suggested that all games in the World Cup should be ended with penalty shootouts if there was a draw score, including during the group stages... when England were famously losing any penalty shootout they participated in.
