SSX Deadly Descents Game Info

Redefining the SSX franchise, SSX: Deadly Descents will pit riders versus both mountain and man.  Players will explore the story of a team who seek to be the first to descend the faces of the most treacherous mountain ranges on the planet. The team will travel the world to face the worst that Mother Nature can throw at them. From the peaks of the Himalayas, where the air is so thin that riders have to descend through the death zone at breakneck speeds to keep from blacking out, to the solid ice ranges of Antarctica, where a sunlit line is the only survival option when temperatures drop 50 degrees centigrade in the shade.  And the mountain isn’t the only danger players will face.  In SSX: Deadly Descents the first goal is to survive. The second, in true SSX fashion, is to look good doing it.

Yeh I saw this trailer. It didn't get me too excited. I need to see some gameplay before I can judge it properly. It is nice to see SSX again but it looks like it's going in a whole different direction than the previous ones

Looked a bit like SS3/Big Mountain direction to me... (especially the Peak 2 area)

I mainly mean how it's based on survival now. Not just having fun snowboarding. It looked much more serious,realistic and darker in the trailer. Hopefully it'll get cleared up by some gameplay footage soon.

Trailer looked way to serious for a SSX game, im glad that we finally have a new SSX game but yeah my hope's on this arn't to high from this trailer.

thank you so much for posting this, it has made my year. SSX 3 was my favourite ever game.

i will reserve my judgment on this game until more is announced, but i am really pumped to see more of it

I'm in the eager to see some SSX club..and agree with all your comments.

Await more details and gameplay, but SSX was always about obscene tricks and fun..this all seems a bit too serious and "survival snowboarding".
